Thoughts on a Wine Cellar by Henry Goulding

Henry Goulding was a lawyer with a nose - a nose for life and a nose for wine.

When he tasted his way into the 1993 Sunday Telegraph wine-tasting grand final, he began seriously laying down wines for the future.  And when he realised that he wasn't to going to be able to enjoy that future with his beloved family and legions of friends, he wrote this brave and beautiful book which elegantly links his cellar to those he adored.  It also gives everyone the chance to appreciate a wonderful and much-missed man. His book has been raising money in Henry's memory for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Henry and his love of wine are the guiding hands behind Top Note Design.  We based many of our original designs on capsules from his extensive collection.  He gave us advice on what he felt were the must-have wine accessories and we set about sourcing them.
